Mathematics & English Tutor (Alternative Provision)

Skilled Futures is looking for Maths and English Tutors to deliver 1:1 and small group sessions to learners from Year 9 and above, including Electively Home Educated (EHE) learners and learners with SEND.

Sessions will be delivered online and face-to-face, focusing on Functional Skills, GCSE Foundation and core Maths and English skills, as well as building learner confidence and engagement.

Responsibilities    
    Deliver engaging Maths or English sessions
   Deliver both online and face-to-face lessons
   Work with small groups and 1:1 learners
   Support learners with SEND or gaps in education
   Track learner progress and attendance
   Build positive relationships with learners

Requirements    
    Experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English
   Experience working with young people
   Comfortable working with SEND learners
   Relevant qualification (Level 3 or above)
   Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
   Driving licence preferred for face-to-face delivery
